Meet the Owner
Erika Bricker, MBA
I took a rather circuitous route to the world of Web Design. My undergraduate degree was in Business Administration with a minor in Accounting. After graduating in 1996, I landed a job in the Sales and Marketing department of a local telecommunications company and got my first taste of web design while designing an intranet site for the sales team. I loved the fact that Web Design requires a mix of technical and creative skills. I gradually got more training in Web Design and programming, and began designing sites for friends and family.
Later on, I went to work for a large internet service provider as a Telecommunications Analyst, where I was in charge of tracking their networks and the associated costs. I learned a great deal about network layout and functionality, as well as internet product trends, and find that this knowledge serves me well in my own business.
My goal is to excellent customer service and products tailored to your business needs. As an entrepreneur, I understand the challenges of running a small business. I will get to know you and your business and you will never be pawned off on a junior designer who doesn't understand your goals.
In 2006, I earned my MBA from Kutztown University and took Stardust from a part-time business to a full-time endeavor. In addition to the sites I've designed, I maintain about 30 that were created by other designers. I also provide other services such as e-newsletter management and search engine optimization.
Today, I live near Reading, PA with my husband, two sons, an annoying dog, three moderately disgruntled cats, nine chickens, a rabbit and assorted fish.
